At THE STAR, we have thoughtfully designed our space to cater to your dog’s needs as much as yours. Our designated water points equipped with bowls ensure that your pup stays hydrated and happy throughout your visit.

Welcome to THE STAR, where our passion for cask ale takes centre stage! With 5 hand pumps and occasional guest appearances in pint or bag in box, we’re committed to providing a diverse and delightful selection of beers for our patrons.

At the heart of our ale offering, you’ll find 2 main hand-pulls dedicated to the timeless Bass and the local gem, Charnwood’s Vixen. The remaining 3 hand pulls are reserved for guests, offering a spectrum that can range from pale ales to rich porters. We exclusively collaborate with local breweries, with the exception of Listers, a Suffolk-based brewery whose Tailwagger Brew supports the Dog’s Trust charity with 5p from every pint.

Our roster of local breweries includes Charnwood, Little Brewing, Milestone, Nottingham Brewery, Castle Rock, Blue Monkey, Falstaff, and more. Each brings a unique flavor profile and craftsmanship to our taps.
